Viking 5 Metal Detector

The Viking 5 is a TR detector with two controls, on/off with fine-tuning and the other offering coarse tuning, able to pick up most metals, it has an inherent partial discrimination against small rusty nails. Complete with the new Viking design, the Viking 5 is an ideal detector for beginners.

The Viking 5 is also a favourite with many water companies around the country looking for pipes and manholes. With its sturdy design and simplicity of use, the Viking 5 will serve the detectorist well for many years.

Viking VK40 Metal Detector

This is the latest detector in the Viking range. The VK40 is set apart from the rest of the Viking range by its concentric search coil and membrane keypad control system. The large coil allows objects to be detected deeper than with the other Viking detectors. The keypad allows quick switching between detection modes and processor memory allows the detector to be set up as desired and retain those settings whilst not in use. The Viking 40 comes in the new Viking colours with updated livery on the coil. Membrane Keypad. Featured on the VK40 the membrane keypad provides an alternative method of setting up the detector to the traditional rotary controls and switches. All the functions are controlled from the 5 keys provided. A single key press allows the detection mode to be selected, and the Discrimination, Sensitivity and Ground settings can be adjusted using a simple menu system
